Our
Mission: |
| To offer a Christian educational alternative that
integrates faith and learning through a Biblical worldview. We
strive to equip our students to develop their gifts, to become
discerning disciples, and to joyfully serve God in the way God
calls each of them to live in their community and world.
|
|
Our
Vision: |
- We are a Christian community that believes that God is the
Lord of all creation and that God is revealed through both
creation and God's infallible written Word. We
acknowledge that we are God's unique image bearers.
- As a Christian community, we seek to educate the whole
child, fostering spiritual, emotional, physical, aesthetic,
and intellectual development, and we seek to help each other
discover our unique God-given gifts. We wish to nurture
our students, and encourage each other, so that we together
may be led to discover, celebrate, and proclaim, both
individually and communally, the restorative power of God's
work in all areas of life.
- As a Christian community, we aim to provide a challenging
and affirming learning environment which frees students to
explore and examine all human endeavor within God's creation
from a Christian perspective, thereby developing their
abilities to discern and respond to society.
- As a Christian community, we encourage responsible
citizenship by promoting and modeling social justice and
stewardship through a variety of service opportunities in our
campus life. We strive to provide knowledge, insight,
and skills to equip our students to live lives of faithful and
joyous service to God and neighbor.

Our
Education Creed: |
| The Lord God, by graciously
giving us the Scriptures, has revealed to His people
ordering principles intensely relevant to education,
and mandates humankind to bring the whole Word of God
to bear in all its power upon education. Therefore we
confess, regarding: |
| Life, that human life in its
entirety is religious, for God created us to serve
Him everywhere and in all things, and requires us to
educate our children for this purpose. |
| Bible, that the Bible as the
written Word of God is the Truth by which the Holy
Spirit enlightens our understanding of God,
ourselves, and the world, and is the infallible
authority by which He directs and governs all our
activities, including the education of our children. |
| Creation, that the Eternal
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who of nothing, made
Heaven and Earth and all that is in them, likewise
upholds and governs the same by His eternal counsel
and providence and that this same God is glorified by
His creation. Only in this can we rightly understand
our relationship to God. |
| Ourselves, that we are created
in the image of God to enjoy covenantal fellowship
with our Creator and to reflect in our person and
works the excellencies of our Maker. We are
instructed to exercise dominion over the world in
strict and loving obedience to God and to interpret
all reality in accordance with His design and law. |
| Sin, that sin is disobedience of
God's law and that we, by sinning, gave up our office
and task, estranged ourselves from God and our
neighbor, and brought God's curse upon creation. As a
result, we are blind to the true meaning of life and
repress and misuse the knowledge of God, which
confronts us in creation and Scripture. |
| Christ, that Jesus Christ, our
living Lord, of whom the Scriptures testify, has
reconciled the world to God and redeems our life in
its entirety, including education. Through His
Spirit, He renews our heart to love God and our
neighbor and redirects o ur understanding to rightly
know God, ourselves, and the world. |
| The Kingdom of God, that the
rule of Jesus Christ over all things established the
Kingdom of God and makes education possible and
meaningful. In obedience to Christ, we claim every
area of life for Him. |
| Purpose of Education, that the
purpose of education is to guide and direct students
to know Christ and to prepare them for living a
full-orbed Christian life, where God is gratefully
served and honored in all activities, where each
student learns to live as a member of the body of
believers and as a member of society, attempting to
renew for the Lord the culture, its use of natural
resources, its literature, art, politics, and
economics. |
| Parents, that God had commanded
parents to responsibly nurture and educate their
children. Out of obedience, parents are concerned
that their children receive a God-honoring education,
and thus establish Christian schools and seek out
Christian educators to assist them in this task. |
| Children, that all children are
image bearers of the Lord with God-given talents and
unique personalities. They are to be dealt with as
whole persons as they are guided in the educational
process to take on responsible maturity as God's
representatives in society. |
| Teachers, that the teacher, as a
servant of God, accepts the responsibility from the
parents to further nurture and educate their
child(ren) in school, guiding students into a deeper
understanding of God's world and its history. Through
the execution of this teaching office in the school,
teachers encourage students to attain responsible
maturity grounded in the Biblical faith so that they
can take up their specific responsibilities and
vocation in life in a manner pleasing to the Lord. |
| The Christian School, that the
school established and controlled by a society of
Christian believers in accordance with state law,
possesses the freedom in education in total and
voluntary submission to Christ the King. |
